Public Education

CCREC supports collaborative research to solve strategic challenges facing California’s communities. Thus, CCREC supports the formation of community learning processes as integral to the research and its extension into policy dialogues and decisions, institutional responses, and community change.

CCREC’s public education emphasis will feature multi-modal media in research processes and findings dissemination. CCREC believes these media are critical components of building the deliberative capacity of Californians in relation to the state’s economy, education, employment, environment, health, housing, and nutrition.
