Sheeva Sabati

Graduate Student Researcher

Sheeva Sabati is a Ph.D. candidate in UCSC's Education Department with a designated emphasis from the Feminist Studies Department. She has worked as a CCREC graduate student researcher for over four years, engaging with the ethics of community-university collaborations through the Center’s many projects. Sheeva’s thinking has been deeply informed by Women of Color Feminisms and various strands of de- and anti-colonial thought, and is interested in how these frameworks raise urgent questions to push standardized conceptions of research ethics.
