Victor Becerra is the Director of the Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC), where he has worked since 2001. Mr. Becerra has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC-Santa Barbara and an M.A. degree in Urban and Regional Planning, with a concentration in Social Policy and Analysis, from UCLA. Mr. Becerra's primary interest in urban planning is community development. He is especially concerned with place-based forms of planning, which improve built environments, help address health disparities, and contribute to community and personal well-being.

Urban planning, community development, engagemed scholarship, professional development, individual and class-room applied research, curricular innovation,  community outreach activities that facilitate and support town-gown relations and assist community development and well-being.
