Urban Research Based Action Network (URBAN)
CCREC has been actively involved in building the national Urban Research Based Action Network (URBAN), which supports scholar-activists engaged in community-based research across the social science disciplines. CCREC’s Director, Ron Glass, continues to serve on URBAN’s National Planning Team.
URBAN hosted a series of three national conferences that brought together leading scholars to clarify core institutional and practice-based issues connected with engaged scholarship.
